No. Healthbook.my's AI assistant is designed to complement — not replace — professional medical advice. It helps you understand your health data, prepare for doctor visits, and stay informed between appointments. Always consult a healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment.

The assistant sends your symptoms, health history, and uploaded documents to a large language model, which writes back a structured explanation. It is generated text, not a clinical assessment: it can be confidently wrong, and it has no way to examine you.

The AI considers everything you share — symptoms you describe, lab reports you upload, medications you track, and your health timeline. The more context you provide, the more personalized and accurate the analysis becomes. You control exactly what data the AI can access.

Here is exactly how it works. Traffic to healthbook.my runs over HTTPS, and your documents and records are stored in Cloudflare R2 and D1, which encrypt data at rest. What we cannot claim is that your data is sealed with a key only you hold: to answer your questions the assistant reads your text and documents on our servers and sends them to the AI model provider that generates the response. We do not sell your health data, use it for advertising, or pass it to anyone outside that processing path. That provider runs on servers outside Malaysia. You can delete your records from your account at any time.

The AI assistant supports English, Malay (Bahasa Malaysia), Mandarin Chinese, Tamil, and several other languages, and you can switch at any time. We have not measured whether answers are equally reliable in every language, so treat a non-English answer with the same caution as an English one.
